Crowbar, King Biscuit Boy, and Tom Basciano

It was with great sadness that I learned about the passing of Tom "The Basher" Basciano. Tom was a prominent Hamilton lawyer who was always concerned with helping others, often for no or little fee if that person was in need. As well as that, Tom was the manager of Crowbar and King Biscuit Boy for the entire time I was in the band. Tom worked tirelessly on behalf of the band and was responsible for trips to New Orleans, Calgary during Stampede time, Expo 86 in Vancouver, The Ontario Place Forum, trips to Cleveland (home of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame) and many other gigs that we played. One of the places we played in Cleveland was a club where Paul Simon filmed his movie, One Trick Pony. Five doors down the street, John Lee Hooker was playing in a club, so between our shows we would all run down to that club to catch his show. We, as a band, might not have had those experiences and adventures were it not for Tom.
